First the first Gulf oil spill, now we see that the Mariner Energy rig has exploded in Louisiana. I sure hope that this doesn't mean more environmental damage. On the other hand, this country needs this homegrown energy. This such a complicated scenario to figure out. I'm not sure what the solution is.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!

You can always ask but, the answer will be NO. In most states, the county cannot assess the value of an individual home. It has to be countywide. Therefore, they will not do it until the next countywide assessment is due.

This is not 100% accurate. Tax certificates can earn interest of up to 18 per cent, depending on the winning percentage bid at the auction. At the auction, bidders bid down the interest rate that will be paid by the owner for continuing interest on the certificate amount. If the interest is bid down to one per cent, then a “premium,” is bid starting at $0 to whenever the bidding stops to obtain the tax certificate.

To have loan modification approval, make yourself acquainted with all the new rules and regulations for organizing loan modification in you area and for your mortgage company through the help of a professional who is proficient in submitting successful mortgage loan modification applications. Don't forget to get all the necessary paperwork well prepared before presenting the application to your loan company .

Perfect. You got the whole thing in a nutshell. Great article. Tax Liens and Tax Deeds are distinctly different in the Tax Lien and Tax Deed process, and should not be confused. Through Tax Deed Sales, the Tax Deed investor can snatch the property from the Tax Lien investor at public auction and then have an extremely valuable asset in their grasp for the future. Yet, the lien investor, as you article so correctly points out, still gets their due. If your readers want some tips on general Tax Deed investing I have a few videos I produced on Tax Deed Tips on my website and great e-books on the subject for select states as well as the USA in general.

As a person who really likes to consume seafood, for certain I will now have to wonder to myself, if it has been affected at all by any of the oil spill? Regrettably, I fail to feel that the government is truly being entirely frank with the general public. I experience they are minimizing the considerable impact that this oil spill will have on our food supply. An additional key concern that I've is what will occur if a hurricane hits the gulf of Mexico? Let us anticipate that a hurricane very close in power to hurricane Katrina, were to hit the gulf of Mexico, wouldn't that system suck up all of the oil and send it right across the land? Wouldn't that cause a tragic problems?
