Joseph V. Priore  was one of twenty NSU Law alumni, faculty members, and senior administrators who met the necessary qualifications and were sworn in before the U.S. Supreme Court on November 17, 2008. The induction ceremony was conducted by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. NSU Professor Bruce Rogow served as movant for the group.
